Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

A simple yet indulgent dessert with a buttery crust, gooey caramel, melted chocolate, and crunchy nuts.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until combined.
  • Press mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden.
  • Pour caramel sauce over the hot crust.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chunks and chopped nuts (if using) over the caramel.
  • Return to the oven for 10 more minutes.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Spread if desired.
  • Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For a salted caramel twist, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
