INGREDIENTS:
2 apple pie filling cans (20 oz. each)
2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
1 1/2 cups unwrapped Kraft caramels, chopped in half
1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
1 stick butter, cut into 14 inch thick pats 1 cup
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Set aside a 13×9 casserole dish that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
In a medium mixing basin, combine apple pie filling, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Fill the prepared pan halfway with the apple mixture and spread it out evenly.
Caramels should be arranged on top of the apple filling. Over the caramels, evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix.
Distribute the butter pats equally over the entire dessert.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the dump cake for 45 minutes, or until the top is gently browned and the edges are bubbling.
Before serving, allow it to cool somewhat.
