Parmesan Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese (such as Kraft brand)
  • 1 cup of Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Lightly coat the foil with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Brush each pork chop with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Dip each pork chop into the cheese mixture, pressing down so that the mixture adheres to the pork chop and covers it evenly.
  5. Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake the pork chops for 40-45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) when measured with a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the chop.
  7. Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
