Creamy Burrito Casserole: A Delicious and Easy Family Meal

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1 package of taco seasoning
6 large flour tortillas
1 can of refried beans
2 to 3 cups of shredded taco cheese or cheddar cheese
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
4 ounces of sour cream
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain the excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning and refried beans to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for a few minutes until heated through.
In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until smooth.
Spread half of the sour cream mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch casserole dish.
Tear three tortillas into bite-sized pieces and spread them over the sour cream mixture.
Spoon half of the beef and bean mixture over the tortillas.
Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese over the beef and bean mixture.
Repeat layers of tortillas, beef and bean mixture, and cheese.
Sprinkle additional cheese over the top layer.
Bake the casserole, uncovered, for 20-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
