This cake is a showstopper, with its deep, dark chocolate flavor and creamy, ganache frosting. But it’s not just the taste that makes it so special – it’s also incredibly easy to make, using just a few simple ingredients you may already have in your pantry.
Ingredients:
- 1 box of Devil’s Food Cake Mix
- 1 box of instant chocolate pudding mix (3.9 oz)
- 5 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup of oil
- 1 cup of sour cream or buttermilk
- 3/4 cup of brewed coffee
- 2 cups of Nestle Toll House chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix and instant pudding mix.
- In another mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, oil, sour cream or buttermilk, and brewed coffee until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

- Stir the mixture constantly until it becomes a smooth and glossy icing.
