Who doesn’t enjoy an Ice cream bar? With velvety layers of Oreos, pudding, and whipped cream, they’re even better in our traditional Oreo Icebox Dessert. Yum!
INGREDIENTS:
1 Oreo package (15 oz.) crumbled
6 tbsp. melted butter
1 package softened cream cheese (8 oz.)
1 cup sugar (confectioners’)
1 big (5.1 oz.) box instant chocolate pudding + milk to make, according to the pudding packaging directions
1 container (16 oz.) Cool Whip whipped topping
INSTRUCTIONS:
Set aside about 1/4 cup Oreos that have been crushed. Combine the melted butter and the remaining crumbled Oreos. In a 9×13″ baking dish, press the mixture into the bottom.
Mix the cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar well. 1/2 of the Cool Whip should be folded in until everything is mixed correctly. Over the crumbled Oreo layer, spread the cream cheese mixture. Allow 20 minutes for chilling.
Follow the package directions for making chocolate pudding. Cover with a layer of cream cheese. Allow 20 minutes for chilling.
Spread the rest of the cool Pour the whipped cream over the pudding layer. On top, scatter the remaining crushed Oreos. Before serving, chill for at least 8 hours or overnight.

It will still taste excellent if you use 1/3-fat Neufchatel cream cheese, sugar-free instant pudding (the ounces on the container will be fewer), and lite Cool Whip.
