1 thawed (8 oz) container of Cool Whip

1 blue jello (3 oz) box

sprinkling of patriotism (optional)

Follow the package directions for making the red jello. Divide the jello amongst the cups and refrigerate until the jello is completely set (about 2 hours).

Divide the Cool Whip amongst the cups once the initial layer has set. Using an offset spatula or a spoon, smooth the top of the Cool Whip. Return the glasses to the fridge to cool for another 2 hours.

Follow the package directions for making the blue Jello. Refrigerate the blue Jello for about 15 minutes. You only want it to cool down a little, not start to set. Divide the mixture into the cups and return to the fridge to set fully (approximately 2 hours).

Chill before serving. If desired, garnish with red, white, and blue sprinkles before serving.
