This quick and simple cream cheese danish is prepared with store-bought crescent roll dough and takes less than 30 minutes to make from start to finish.

Ingredients

Crescent Roll Tubes (two)
Philly cream cheese (8 oz) (softened)
2 tablespoons butter (fully melted)
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar (light brown)
1/2 cup white sugar (normal)
1 tsp vanilla extract (pure)
for the glaze
1/2 cup powdered sugar
4 Teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine the softened cream cheese, lemon juice, pure vanilla extract, and white sugar in a medium mixing bowl with an electric mixer until thoroughly blended.
Place something aside.
Do not unroll your crescent roll tubes after opening them.
Cut into them with a sharp knife, slicing them. Thick slices should be made.
Place each slice on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Create a tiny wall around the edge using your fingertips or a small measuring cup (to hold the filling).

Using a brush, combine the melted butter with 1/4 cup light brown sugar and stir thoroughly.
Using a pastry brush, coat each danish with the mixture.
Fill each danish with an equal amount of the filling.
Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 16-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow to cool before drizzling with glaze.
Glaze
Combine all three ingredients in a small dish and mix until smooth, then pour over each warm danish.
Fill with cherries, blueberries, or strawberries!

Enjoy!!
