Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onions are translucent. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping them attached if possible, and place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the cooked beef and onion mixture evenly over the rolls, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Replace the top half of the rolls.
  5. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Spread this mixture over the tops of the rolls. Brush melted butter over the mixture and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into individual sliders. Garnish with pickle slices and minced onion if desired. Serve warm.

Variations & Tips: Feel free to customize this recipe to your taste preferences. You can add crumbled bacon or chopped green chilies to the beef mixture for extra flavor. Substitute pepper jack cheese for cheddar if you like a bit of heat. For a lighter option, use ground turkey and low-fat cheese. Remember, the key to a delicious casserole is cooking with love and sharing it with a smile. Enjoy!
