Gnome Cookie Cups

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Gnome cookies with only four ingredients are as adorable as they are tasty! This dish is ideal for a Christmas cookie exchange, a garden party, or any other occasion when you want to indulge yourself.

Ingredients

1 pound of sugar cookie dough, refrigerated (I used the break apart kind)

White Frosting (24 ounces) (about 2-3 tubes of prepared frosting)

Strawberries, 24

Skittles (24 pieces) (I used the pink ones from the Skittles Smoothie mix)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a tiny muffin tray. If you have them, you may also use small cupcake liners.

Fill each muffin cup with one cookie. They don’t need to be flattened or rolled.

Bake the cookies for 20 minutes and then cool on a wire rack.

Take a small scoop and carefully press the cookies into a cup form while still warm.

Before removing the cake from the pan, allow it to cool fully.

Strawberries should be washed, and the crowns cut out in a v shape.

Fill a cookie cup with icing when it has thoroughly cooled. Here’s where you want to be a bit generous.

Then, place a strawberry and a pink candy nose slightly beneath it on top of the frosting.

Smear part of the frosting with a toothpick to make the white beard.

Enjoy!

Notes:

If necessary, go to the post’s step-by-step pictorial instructions.

Dip strawberries in sugar melt to make a variety of rainbow hats if desired.
