Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Instructions:

  1. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Brown the meat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, parsley flakes, garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, and granulated sugar to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add water and stir well to incorporate. Continue simmering for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Before serving, optionally stir in chopped fresh basil leaves.
  7. Serve the sauce over cooked spaghetti noodles.
