Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to 1/2 inch thickness)
Lowry’s Seasoning Salt
6 slices of bacon
1/4 cup regular mustard
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
2 cups shredded Colby/Jack cheese
Directions:
Sprinkle Lowry’s Seasoning Salt on both sides of the chicken breasts, rubbing it in. Cover and refrigerate the chicken for 30 minutes.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set it aside, keeping the bacon grease in the skillet.
Saute the chicken in the bacon grease for 3 to 5 minutes per side, until nicely browned. Place the chicken in a 9″ × 13″ casserole dish or pan.
For the Honey Mustard, mix the regular mustard, honey, mayonnaise, and dried onion flakes in a small bowl.
Spread a layer of the Honey Mustard mixture over each piece of chicken. Top with crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the chicken is fully cooked. Enjoy!
