This is my absolute favorite cookie recipe! These delectable No-Bake Cookies require only a few ingredients and no time in the oven. Every day, I prepare and bake, but my favorite cookie is a No-Bake Cookie!
Ingredients:
2 lbs. sugar
½ gallon milk
½ cup butter (unsalted)
a quarter cup of cocoa powder
a third of a cup of oats
1 cup peanut butter, creamy
1 tbsp extract de Vanille
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine the sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder in a big saucepan. Bring to a boil slowly while whisking. Allow boiling for one minute after it reaches a boil (I set a timer and stopped the whisking).
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the oats. Mix thoroughly. Mix in the peanut butter well. Finally, go in the vanilla essence.
Prepare the counter by laying down parchment paper and spooning the batter into cookie shapes. Allow 15-30 minutes for the mixture to settle.
NOTES Oats: For this dish, I usually use quick oats. After much testing, I’ve discovered that they are the most effective.
Make sure you use real butter instead of margarine for this recipe. It won’t make a difference till they’ve settled.
Setting time: It may take 20-30 minutes for these cookies to set. If it’s too hot in your place, I’ll open a window or put them in the fridge.
Pro Tip: This dish moves quickly, and overcooking or letting items sit for too long might cause problems. I always prepare all of the materials ahead of time and measure everything out to get started quickly.
Mixing: Do not combine the oats and peanut butter in a separate bowl; instead, combine them in your heated pot.
