Strawberry fluff salad is a simple dessert salad composed with strawberries, pineapple chunks, Cool Whip, small marshmallows, and a few other basic ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 can strawberry pie filling (21 oz.)
¼ cup condensed milk, sweetened
4 cups thawed Cool Whip
sour cream (½ cup)
tiny marshmallows, 2 cups
a third of a cup pineapple chunks
1 cup pecans, chopped
Optional: chopped fresh strawberries
Instructions:
Combine the strawberry pie filling, sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, and Cool Whip in a large mixing bowl.
Combine the pecans, pineapple chunks, and tiny marshmallows in a large mixing bowl.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving, covered in plastic wrap. Before serving, garnish with sliced strawberries if desired.
Notes
Drain the pineapple pieces from the can. The canned pineapple juice should not be used in the salad.
Make this dessert salad ahead of time, up to a day before serving. Keep it refrigerated until ready to serve.
Any leftover salad should be covered and stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
