Apple Salad

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, toss the diced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the diced apples, celery, grapes, pecans, and dried cranberries to the bowl with the mayonnaise mixture. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes:

  • Enjoy this salad with a variety of crisp apples. Try experimenting with different types to find your favorite combination.
  • Feel free to use your preferred seedless grapes, sliced in half, as a substitute for red grapes.
  • You can prepare this salad up to 24 hours in advance. Just store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.
  • Substitute pecans with walnuts, pistachios, macadamia nuts, pine nuts, or sunflower seeds if desired.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This salad does not freeze well.
