Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of Dots candy
  • 10 cups of miniature marshmallows
  • 2 packages (or 4 cups) of white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 stick of unsalted butter

Instructions:

  1. Prepare a baking pan by spraying it with cooking spray and lining it with parchment paper, leaving some excess paper hanging over the sides for easy removal later.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the miniature marshmallows and the unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Add the white chocolate chips to the marshmallow mixture and continue microwaving and stirring until the chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Stir in the Dots candy until they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture. Note that it may be challenging to stir due to the density of the candy, but continue mixing until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate the pan for several hours, or until the nougat is firm.
  7. Once set, lift the nougat out of the pan using the excess parchment paper and place it on a cutting board. Cut the nougat into small cubes using a sharp knife.
  8. Serve and enjoy your homemade marshmallow nougat with jelly candy!
