This recipe combines tender strips of sirloin steak with a vibrant medley of bell peppers and onions, all infused with zesty spices and a touch of heat. Ingredients:

2 pounds sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon lime juice
½ teaspoon chili powder
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups grated Mexican cheese blend
6 to 8 tortillas

Instructions:

In a resealable plastic bag, combine the sliced steak, lime juice, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and minced garlic.
Seal the bag and shake it well to coat the steak pieces with the spices and lime juice.
Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the bag, seal it again, and shake to coat the vegetables with the marinade.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Transfer the contents of the bag to the heated skillet and cook until the vegetables are just tender and the steak is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
Warm the tortillas.
Serve the spicy steak and vegetable mixture with warm tortillas.
Sprinkle the grated cheese over the fajita filling.
Optionally, garnish with your choice of additional toppings.
