Ingredients:

45 ml (3 tsp) basil oil
10 ml (2 teaspoons) Cajun seasoning
1 lb (454 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lb (454 g) steak, cut into thin slices
1 large green or red bell pepper, seeded and cut into quarters
60 g (12 cups) Andouille or chorizo sausage, chopped
1 clove minced garlic
1 chopped tomato (about 250 ml/1 cup)
250 ml (1 cup) milk
1 pack of fettuccine pasta
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a medium bowl, combine the basil oil and Cajun seasoning. Add the shrimp and steak slices. Toss to coat them evenly.
Grill the shrimp, steak, and bell pepper quarters until the shrimp is cooked through and the steak is cooked to your desired doneness. This should take about 4-5 minutes. Set aside and keep warm.
In a medium saucepan, heat the basil oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, stirring frequently, until it turns golden brown, approximately 3 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Stir in the chopped tomato and cook, stirring occasionally, until it softens, about 2 minutes.
Pour the milk and 175 ml (3/4 cup) of water into the saucepan. Increase the heat to high and bring it to a boil.
Stir in the fettuccine pasta and let it boil again. Reduce the heat to medium and cover the saucepan. Cook for 8 minutes, or until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
Season the pasta with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the Cajun shrimp and steak slices alongside the pasta, and garnish with the grilled bell pepper quarters. Enjoy!
