Christmas Crock Pot Candy

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

My spouse eagerly anticipates this recipe every holiday season, begging for its return year after year. Their craving keeps me coming back to this delightful treat.

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz unsalted peanuts (1 16 ounce jar)
  • 16 oz salted peanuts (1 16 ounce jar)
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 12 ounce bag)
  • 12 oz milk chocolate chips (1 12 ounce bag)
  • 20 oz peanut butter chips (2 10 ounce bags)
  • 2 lbs white almond bark (or vanilla candy coating)

Instructions:

  1. Layer the ingredients into your crock pot or slow cooker, beginning with the roasted peanuts (salted and unsalted). Add the semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips, along with the peanut butter chips, then the white almond bark. Breaking the almond bark into squares aids in its melting for this candy recipe.
  2. Cover the crock pot and set it to low heat. After 1 ½ hours, uncover and stir the mixture. Resume covering and continue cooking on low heat for another 30 minutes. When the chocolate and peanuts have been cooking for 2 hours, stir the mixture and turn off the heat. Replace the cover and let it sit in the crock pot for an additional 30 minutes.
  3. Stir the candy mixture before portioning it out onto parchment paper, wax paper, or aluminum foil. Allow the candies to harden for approximately 1 hour at room temperature.

This treat not only delights the taste buds but also keeps the requests for my recipes flowing. Enjoy the sweet moments and may it continue to bring joy and sweetness to your holidays!
