Ingredients:

  • 6 cube steaks
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and sliced into rings
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/2 can water (using the soup can)
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Begin by peeling and slicing the medium-sized onion into rings.
  2. Place 2 cube steaks at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. Layer the sliced onions over the cube steaks, repeating the process with the remaining cube steaks. This helps prevent them from sticking together during cooking.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, black pepper, and water. Mix well.
  5. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the arranged cube steaks and onions in the slow cooker.
  6. Sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup Mix on top of the ingredients.
  7. Cover the slow cooker with the lid and set it to the low heat setting.
  8. Let the delicious aroma fill your kitchen as it cooks over the next 6 hours.
  9. Once done, serve the cube steak with its flavorful gravy over mashed potatoes. Pair it with a side of salad or green vegetables for a wholesome meal.

Note: If you prefer cream of mushroom soup, feel free to use it as a substitute. Personalize the recipe to your liking!
