  • 1 lb of lean ground beef (at least 80%)
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped (1 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup of Original Bisquick™️ mix
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 eggs


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and generously coat a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  2. In a 10-inch skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is thoroughly cooked. Drain any excess grease and stir in the salt. Spread the beef and onion mixture evenly in the prepared pie plate. Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese over the top.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients (Original Bisquick™️ mix, milk, and eggs) until well blended. Pour this mixture over the beef and cheese in the pie plate.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
